Pleaded Guilty


The former YMCA director and former Parkersburg High School Girls Tennis coach was sentenced to two years in jail on Thursday. Jeff Olson, 53, appeared before Wood County Circuit Judge Robert Waters for sentencing after he entered into a plea agreement on Feb. 1 where he pleaded guilty to distribution and exhibition of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

William C. Robinson, a pastor working for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries in Corpus Christi, received 10 years probation after sexually abusing an underage family member. According to his indictment, Robinson sexually abused an underage family member between July 11, 2015 and June 27, 2022. The arrest affidavit states the sexual contact with the child began when she was nine. Robinson was arrested on June 11, 2022. Boy Scout volunteer, David Lee Nelson, 41, of Redmond, Wash. admitted to hiding cameras in S Bar F Scout Ranch bathrooms and pleaded guilty to two counts of production of child pornography and two counts of attempted production of child pornography.  The charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, followed by a term of supervised release of up to life.

A Midland man pleaded guilty Thursday to three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with three children under 13, admitting he did it for his own sexual gratification between 2010 and 2023. Brandon Saylor, 44, who was a Living Word Church volunteer, is set for sentencing at 2 p.m. April 4 in Midland County Circuit Court. He was originally charged with six counts of criminal sexual conduct (two with relationship) and three counts of accosting children for immoral purposes. Six of the charges were dismissed.

A 21-year-old woman who helped GOP donor Anton Lazzaro sex traffic underage girls at "every step of the way" was sentenced Tuesday to three years in prison. Gisela Castro Medina, 21, recruited six girls to have sex with now 32-year-old Lazzaro, documents say. The two met in May of 2020 on a sugar daddy website; Castro Medina brought a 16-year-old girl to Lazzaro's condo at the Hotel Ivy, and Lazzaro paid them $600 for sex. 

Colin R. Schwab, 21, of South Attleboro, was sentenced to a 2 ½-year jail term which was suspended by Judge Michele Armour with probation for two years with conditions, according to court records. Schwab was an 18-year-old Eagle Scout and a senior at Tri-County Regional Vocation Technical High School when he was arrested in January 2020.
